A former student at Oklahoma State University, Jared created Searching for Red Productions in 1996 to promote his creative writing in film and television to a regional and national level. With the competition of that field, Jared realized a reorganization of the company was in order and he began graphic and web design on a part-time basis. Upon his relocation to Stillwater, Oklahoma in January 1996, Jared immediately promoted Searching for Red Productions to area organizations and business. Along with building an impressive list of clients, while still keeping the business part-time, Jared was thinking of the future. It wasn't until the creation of Stillwater Scene Magazine in June 2001 that Jared was virtually forced to make the switch from part-time to full-time with Searching for Red Productions. In only a matter of six short months, Stillwater Scene increased in size by 1,200%, proving to all who came across this young publication that there was a need for entertainment information in Stillwater. Since then, Jared has focused his talents on promoting live music and theatre, as well as sponsoring many local events and charities. Personally, Jared is an avid movie buff, loves Law & Order on television, reading and redheads.
