A 21 year old singer/songwriter from Moore, OK who started as a lead vocalist and eventually went on to solo performances. With an acoustic-based style, Darren writes lyrics that are both personal and creative. He has played all around the state and is just starting to tour in other states, so keep your eyes open for upcoming shows. His debut CD, Thrift Store Special was released in early 2003.

In the beginning, five people created "City Blues". Their sole purpose: to represent the City of Stillwater during the annual Blues Festival in 2000. Much to the band's surprise, the audience really cheered them on and the group realized their music actually sounded pretty good. With a few changes and lots of practice... ReTroSpecT was born!
